How Diplo keeps the directory right
Our methodOfficial register first
Addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses come from the Protocol Division register of the Ministry of External Affairs, with the date we read it.
Names need a second source
A head of mission is shown only when a credentials record, the mission itself or a dated report confirms the name. Where a newer credentials record exists, it is shown instead of an older register entry. Otherwise the page says the name is being verified.
Checked every month
We compare the register with Diplo every month and read new MEA publications and credentials ceremonies every day. Contact changes come straight from the register; a new head of mission is shown once a second official source agrees. Every page shows its sources.
